Hi ZNewsHoover, Hope this email finds you well. 300 emails down, 150 to go. I'm aiming to have all emails replied-to within the next 24 hours. In case you missed last week's update emails, you can find them here (1) and here (2). As promised, here is the latest updates on the Tweepi-Twitter situation: - Twitter Support are being unresponsive. This means until further notice, the "API Follow" feature will remain disabled to avoid getting any accounts locked. The good news is that following users directly from Twitter.com does not cause those dreaded account lock outs.
- The "Add to Follow List" feature is now available. It streamlines the follow functionality by adding users to a private Twitter list under your account so you can follow them faster. More information below.
- Tweepi Legacy and Sigma have been merged into simply "Tweepi". Tweepi Sigma is back to being Tweepi Beta. All users can use both versions.
- If you're still having problems with Twitter's phone verification system failing, we updated our Knowledge Base with all the information we have about unlocking your Twitter account. We hope it helps.
New "Add to Follow List" Follow Replacement As the "API Follow" functionality is going to be disabled for an unknown stretch of time, we are offering two alternative ways of following users. Earlier, we introduced the "Follow on Twitter" button. The "Add to Follow List" is now ready, and it works great! Tweepi will keep track of all those actions every 15 minutes and record them as "Followed on date" only if the actions are actually carried out on Twitter.com. So, you will be able to use your Tweepi account's "Last action via Tweepi" history as usual. The "Add to Twitter List" facilitates curating the users you're interested in following into a private Twitter list. This makes following the @users you select on Tweepi easy using Twitter's Android/iOS apps, as well as Twitter's web interface. We have more ideas to make this even faster. Update #4, coming within a few days :) | | Recapping the "Follow on Twitter" feature "Follow on Twitter" opens users' profiles directly on Twitter from Tweepi. Please make sure you're logged into the correct @user account on Twitter.com when using this feature. We are thinking about a way to alert you, otherwise. | | More updates coming within a week, including "Follow Intent" action improvements and better integration between both versions of Tweepi. Thank you for bearing with us through these forced-by-Twitter changes and sorry for the inconvenience. We hope the latest updates will keep you with us. If you feel you'd like to cancel or be reimbursed, please contact us with your @user name and payment order number. We'll process it ASAP. We'd love to hear back from you! Please hit reply and let us know your thoughts. It might take me a few days to get back to you with all that's happening.
