Hi Miriam, It's been a rough couple of weeks here at Tweepi. We're sending this email to update you regarding the ongoing issues and to introduce you to the new Tweepi Sigma. TLDR: Twitter started locking client accounts who use the follow feature of Tweepi Legacy. We launched a new and completely redesigned version of Tweepi called Sigma. It uses AI driven suggestions for higher ROI and reducing the time spent managing your Twitter account. Since a few hours, Sigma cannot process any follow request. We are waiting on Twitter to reply. We'll update you. Timeline of the past two weeks Friday, May 26th: Twitter changed their locking mechanism. More than 20% of our users started getting their accounts "Temporarily Locked", requiring phone call verification. We emailed Twitter asking about the issue. Thursday, June 1st: Twitter responded to our email informing us that it's not a Tweepi related issue, rather the way @users are chosen and followed using our app. In turn, we prioritized development and testing for what was branded as Tweepi Beta. Wednesday, June 7th: We launched our AI-driven Tweepi Sigma. Tweepi Legacy remains online, but as the locks situation cannot be resolved, it's no longer recommended for performing follow actions. A few hours ago (9th of June): Follow requests from the new Sigma are returning the "Cannot follow more users at this time" message. We emailed Twitter. We will update you soon. Introducing the new Tweepi Sigma Tweepi Sigma delivers daily Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven Twitter recommendations for your account, with the goal of increasing your followers and account engagement. It does almost everything Tweepi Legacy does, faster, safer and with higher return-on-investment. Legacy Tweepi tools to the new Sigma mapping - Follow by Tweet/Hashtag Search became the new account setup step 1/3 (see GIF). You can add up to 25 hashtags for Tweepi to monitor on a daily basis.
- Follow by Followers and Friends became the new account setup step 2/3 (see GIF). You can add up to 25 @users or @competitors for Sigma to track on a daily basis.
- Unfollow/Cleanup tools have been combine under the "Should Unfollow". This includes the old cleanup and smart unfollow features targeting inactive or incomplete profile users who you follow.
- Follow by list and copy/paste are coming soon to Sigma.
- New Reply, Like and Retweet recommendations added.
Sigma will also filter all users followed/unfollowed previously through Tweepi and not offer them as suggestions which was a big problem with Tweepi Legacy even though we offered this option through filters. | | Higher ROI, Less Work Quality matters and this is where the new "Account Setup" comes into play. Instead of viewing all @users for a particular search, Sigma will only recommend active users, which means you'll get the attention of users who will potentially tweet and retweet about your brand. The new Sigma machine learning engine selects users with ~30% or more probability of following you back and engaging. This is a 2X improvement compared to Tweepi Legacy. This means that instead of following 950 accounts and getting ~130 followers, some could be inactive bots, you can get up to 250 follow recommendations which should yield ~75 new followers a day. Plus, you'll get up to 75 like, reply and retweet suggestions with similar follow back rates, and that's another ~20 followers a day, while making you look like a boss on Twitter. Those design elements of the new Tweepi Sigma should: - Grow your Twitter follower base faster than ever before.
- Get you more engagement; as recommendations are chosen based on activity (tweet, retweet and reply) rather than passive listeners.
Choosing #hashtags We've had great results researching and choosing hashtags using RiteTag. Here is an example search. Tweepi Legacy and its future The old Dashboard is no longer safe to use for following other @users and a clear warning message have been added. It will remain online for a while until we port the missing features to the new Sigma edition. We will update you again once we hear back from Twitter. Thank you for bearing with us through these forced-by-Twitter changes and sorry for the inconvenience. We'd love to hear back from you! Please hit reply and let us know your thoughts. It might take me a few days to get back to you with all that's happening.
